EPDM

A synthetic rubber manufactured as a copolymer of ethylene and propylene as main monomers.If the copolymer chain contains only
ethylene and propylene structural units, it is called EPM.When an unconjugated diene is added as a third monomer in addition to
ethylene and propylene, the product is called EPT or EPDM.
Characteristic.
Good ozone resistance, better than CR, IIR.
Good heat resistance.
Good weather resistance.
Good low temperature characteristics.
Stable for polar solvents (alcohol, ketone, diol), hydrochloric acid, caustic, sodium and other inorganic drugs.
Disadvantages.
Poor oil resistant.
Poor bending and cracking resistant.
