The AFLAS new fluorine rubber operated by HERSBIT company was launched by Asahi Subsidiary in 1975. It is an unique tetrafluorethylene and propylene copolymer.(classification name FEPM) Characteristics: Because Aflas® is a copolymer which on the basis of tetrafluoroethylene (C2F4) and propylene (C3H6), the molecular structure and characteristics are different as the before fluorine rubber. With good heat resistance, good drug resistance, good electrical insulation, good solvent resistance, good steam resistance and other properties. Steam resistance: in 200℃ (15kg/cm2) steam environment, there will be no foaming, softening and other deterioration phenomenon, can be used stably for a long time. Electrical characteristics: it has high electrical insulation which fluorine rubber does not have before. Good resistance to the erosion of strong acid and bases resistance.
